Remote Drum Recording
I've been fortunate to work in some of the UK's leading studios as either a drummer, engineer, or assistant, learning from some brilliant engineers and producers along the way. Since moving to London, I've built my remote setup with the same approach in mind: great drums, diverse mic locker, proper preamps and conversion, and a recording approach shaped around the song. My aim is to make the process feel like booking any other studio for drum session with results that are easy to drop straight back into your project.

What's included
- A full multitrack recording with the processed and raw files, and a stereo reference of my drum group.
- Up to three drum takes of either alternative parts, processing or cymbal and snare choices
- Extra effects channels, percussion or processing when appropriate
- Video playthroughs can also be available upon request
How it works
Talk it through
We can have a video or phone call ahead of the session to go over feel, direction, arrangement notes, and anything the drums need to support.
Shape the setup
I'll suggest the drum, cymbal, mic choice, placement, preamp, and processing choices that feel right for the song before committing to takes.
Files come back
You'll get files that line up perfectly with what you sent. Put the faders at 0 and the drum balance will sit against your original tracks perfectly.
